    General Manager

    About Raquel

    Raquel is General Manager of ICE Pty Ltd. In her role, Raquel is responsible for ICE’s global business operations and strategic growth strategy.

    Raquel is a seasoned executive with experience in general management, legal, finance, and human resources. Raquel has over eight years experience in the PCO industry, having commenced at ICE in 2005 in Operations. Raquel’s previous roles at ICE include HR Manager and Finance Manager.

    Raquel pioneered market leading financial products for Association clients offering greater flexibility, customisation and ease of transition to and from Australian and New Zealand markets. Focusing on partnerships and long term sustainability and growth, Raquel designed purpose driven strategic management tools utilised by ICE’s operations team to ensure ICE’s style of conference management is proactive, informed, and above all, achieves results aligned with our client’s goals.

    Raquel is passionate about professional training and development and teaches Public Relations for Events at the Fitzwilliam Institute Group

    Raquel holds a Degree in Business: International Business, and a MBA in Strategic Management and Project Management.

    Managing Director

    About Daryll

    Daryll is Co-Founder of ICE Pty Ltd and Managing Director as of 2013. In his role Daryll leads ICE’s Senior Management team by driving strategy and capability development.

    Prior to this role Daryll was the Financial Director of ICE Pty Ltd and consulted on its strategic direction since its inception in 1992.

    Daryll brings to the company experience as an entrepreneur and chief executive of a broad range of businesses, including banking, and manufacturing. Daryll has spent 21 years in the conference arena and grew ICE from a small business operation to a robust national company and industry leader.

    In addition to this leadership experience, his background in running and owning large and medium sized companies, and business ventures provide him with extensive experience in reviewing and analysing business opportunities, acquisitions, social awareness, tax, government relations, as well as corporate governance and sustainability.

    Daryll holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town.

    Paula

    National Client Liaison Manager

    About Paula

    Paula joined ICE Australia in early 2010, bringing with her a wealth of experience in Client Relations and Event Management from her 15 years in the Travel industry and Corporate Events. Her strengths draw from her previous roles including sales, client relationship management, event and conference management and financial management.

    Paula has a very “hands on” approach with clients and is focused on delivering a strategic approach towards developing the “big picture” to ultimately ensure the success of their event.

    She is responsible for all areas of Client Relations, Marketing, Branding and Business Development.

    Paula loves to travel the world, from swaying palm trees on blue lagoons to camel riding in the desert.

    About Kerry

    Kerry joined ICE in 2005 bringing with her extensive sales and event management experience from a range of industries including finance, media, recruitment and entertainment. Kerry’s innovative and strategic approach provides the team at ICE with an abundance of strategies and solutions to further enhance ICE’s client experience.

    Throughout her time at ICE, Kerry has been instrumental in the expansion of ICE from a single state office in Sydney to a national presence across Australia. “Providing local support to our clients is extremely important, we know the hot spots of the area, have fantastic relationships with local suppliers and our clients are the ones who benefit most”.

    “It is my aim to provide our clients at ICE with an exceptional experience throughout the planning and management lifecycle of their Conference. We see our role not as just a PCO managing the logistics of an event but rather partnering with our clients to build a legacy they can build on each year”.

    In her spare time Kerry enjoys the arts and reading on her iPad mini.

    Operations Manager

    About Andrea

    Andrea has been with ICE for over 6 years, with 10 years previous experience in the healthcare sector. Having managed numerous medium to large scale conferences and exhibitions at ICE, she currently heads up the Operations Team providing training and development, mentoring and strategic direction to deliver outstanding events.

    A valued member of the Management Team, Andrea is also Team Leader on a number of events, responsible for contract and financial management, critical negotiations and driving innovations to exceed client targets and expectations.

    Andrea’s driving force is developing outstanding client relationships, and has played an integral role in ICE’s several repeat business successes.

    When Andrea is not busy crunching budget numbers she likes to treat herself to good food with great wine.

    About Sabrina

    Having joined the ICE team in 2005, Sabrina has been involved with the planning of events right across Australia.

    From small beginnings; completing an Advanced Diploma in Events Management at TAFE, Sabrina has built on her experience managing events for not for profit associations and executing agreements with corporate stakeholders.

    She is committed to providing the highest level of professionalism and dedication to all events.

    Sabrina is a passionate AFL supporter (go the mighty West Coast Eagles!), and loves live music.

    About Becky

    Becky has 6 years experience in conferences and events. She has managed events for between 50 and 2000 people at a variety of locations around Australia as well as New Zealand, Brazil and LA. She enjoys working with new clients and learning about a range of different industries. Outside of work she is passionate about music and can usually be found at music festivals, live gigs around Melbourne or at home listening to records.

    About Jess

    Jessica has over 6 years experience in conference and event management. Jess lived in Canberra for 4 years where she specialised in association and government events and has also worked as a PCO as an in-house coordinator for a leading industry association.

    After a very busy year of moving house and planning a wedding, Jess is enjoying being back in Melbourne and renovating/decorating her newly purchased house.

    About Li-Mei

    Li Mei completed her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Media Research, during which time she experienced first-hand planning and executing commercial product launches and community events. It was from organising these events that she decided her personality and skills are best suited to the events management industry.

    Prior to joining ICE Li Mei managed corporate seminars and conferences, trainings and congresses, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience with culture in Southeast Asia, Middle East and Australia. She prides herself on being a perfectionist, a trait she continues to hone (nothing is ever too perfect!).

    Li Mei is an avid reader and aspires to be a published author.
